All 4 Russian Truck Crews Will Strive For Victory In Dakar 2019 Rally - Kamaz-Master Team

All four Russian truck crews will struggle for the victory in the upcoming Dakar 2019 rally, head of the Kamaz-Master team Vladimir Chagin said on Monday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 17th December, 2018) All four Russian truck crews will struggle for the victory in the upcoming Dakar 2019 rally, head of the Kamaz-Master team Vladimir Chagin said on Monday.
The Dakar 2019 rally will take place in Peru on January 6-17. The Russian crews will be headed by Eduard Nikolaev, Dmitry Sotnikov, Andrey Karginov and Ayrat Mardeev.
"We present four crews, who will perform at the Dakar 2019 rally ... We will struggle for the victory with our key competitors," Chagin said at a press conference in the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency.
Chagin, who won seven Dakar rallies, called the teams of Iveco and Renault main favorites of the rally along with the Kamaz-Master team.
"We are very glad that this year the competition will be very vibrant," Chagin said.
He called the Dakar 2019 a very important rally as next year marks the 30th anniversary of the the Russian team's foundation.
The Russian truck team has won 15 Dakar rallies with Chagin being the most famous Kamaz driver.
