Australian Swimmer Kaylee McKeown Breaks 100 Meters Backstroke World Record

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 13th June, 2021) Australian swimmer Kaylee McKeown set a new 100 meters backstroke world record on Sunday.

During the national qualifiers for the Olympic Games, McKeown covered the distance in 57.45 seconds.

The previous record (57.57 seconds) belonged to US swimmer Regan Smith.
