Bangladesh Team Arrives In Lahore To Play Test Series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board accepted the PCB’s invitation and decided to send the team earlier for practice

LAHORE: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-August 13rd, 2024) Bangladesh cricket team has arrived in Lahore to play a Test series against Pakistan.

The team was escorted to a private hotel under tight security, and as per the schedule, they will rest today.

The Bangladesh team will have its first training session at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on August 14. After three days of training, they will depart for Islamabad on August 17. During their tour, they are set to play a two-match Test series.

The first match of the series will begin on August 21 in Rawalpindi, while the second Test will start on August 30 in Karachi.

It is worth mentioning that the Bangladesh team was initially scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on August 17. However, due to recent developments in Dhaka, the Pakistan Cricket board (PCB) invited the Bangladesh Cricket Board to send their team earlier.
