Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th August, 2018) Ever since Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) emerged as the majority party in the general elections and Imran Khan was elected as the prime minister, other people named Imran Khan have been getting confused for the PTI chairman.
Test cricketer Imran Khan is also being mistaken for our prime minister and people have been asking him to look into several issues.
The cricketer took to Twitter on Monday and said he just shares the same name and can’t even imagine to be as great as Prime Minister Imran Khan.
“Dear All - please stop confusing me with the legendary @ImranKhanPTI tweeting me to look into xyz issues. I just share the same name & can’t even imagine to be as great as him.
Imran bhai is our pride and I hope he delivers as per all our expectations. He is our last & only hope,” he wrote.
Earlier Bollywood’s Aamir Khan nephew and actor Imran Khan also revealed that he has been receiving messages meant for the PTI chairman.
He shared a screenshot of an E-mail whereby somebody had asked Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan to take the right decisions.
The Bollywood actor finally decided to embrace it as he said in a lighter way, “I guess I can no longer ignore the call to action. Gonna start drafting some policy outlines this week, I'll keep you guys updated.”
