DG Khan Girls Excel In 3rd National Junior/youth Athletics Championship

Sports officials lauded the girls athletes from Dera Ghazi Khan who excelled in 3rd national junior/youth athletics championship winning gold and silver medals at Islamabad.
DERA GHAZI KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2018 ) :Sports officials lauded the girls athletes from Dera Ghazi Khan who excelled in 3rd national junior/youth athletics championship winning gold and silver medals at Islamabad.
According to a release issued by divisional sports officer Ghulam Murtaza, Leveeza Sajid from Daanish school won gold medal in 100 meter sprint while Alisha Riaz grabbed Silver in high jump.
The quartet of Leveeza Sajid, Alisha Riaz, Farzana Qayyum and Maria Khadim stood fourth in 4x100 and 4x400 meters relay race. Maria Khadim also grabbed fourth position in Javelin throw.
Ghulam Murtaza said that players and the coaches including Ghulam Haidar and Ghulam Zainab deserve commendation on this achievement.
