Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar has sought an explanation from District Sports Officer Rawalpindi Waheed Babar within a week for not performing his duties properly and showing an uncivilised attitude towards players

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2019 ) :Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar has sought an explanation from District Sports Officer Rawalpindi Waheed Babar within a week for not performing his duties properly and showing an uncivilised attitude towards players.

The allegation of restraining sports persons from utilising sports facilities had also been levelled against the DSO Rawalpindi, which brought bad name to the SBP office.

Nadeem Sarwar directed the DSO Rawalpindi to submit an explanation within a week; otherwise, strict disciplinary proceedings would be initiated against him under the PEEDA Act 2006.

The DG Sports said that strict disciplinary action would be taken against any staffer if found violating the SBP rules and regulations.
