England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to field in the rain-hit third one-day international against England in Kandy on Wednesday.

The ODI has been reduced to 21 overs a side after nearly six hours were lost due to rain.

The tourists, who lead the five-match series 1-0 after winning their rain-hit second ODI, have made one change with Tom Curran coming in place of injured Liam Dawson.

Sri Lanka skipper Dinesh Chandimal admitted his side would have also bowled first had he won the toss.

The hosts have made three changes from their previous loss with Kusal Mendis, Sadeera Samarawickrama and Amila Aponso included in the XI.
