Faisalabad Region beat Lahore Region Blues by seven wickets in the match of the National T20 Cup 2017-18 at Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi on Monday
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Nov, 2017 ) :Faisalabad Region beat Lahore Region Blues by seven wickets in the match of the National T20 Cup 2017-18 at Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi on Monday.
Faisalabad Region won the toss and elected to field. Lahore Region Blues piled up 187 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Imam-ul-Haq 50, Babar Azam 45 and Hussain Tallat 43 batted well.
For Faisalabad Region, Saeed Ajmal grabbed three wickets for 26 runs.
Faisalabad Region achieved the target in 18.1 overs for loss of three wickets. Sohaib Maqsood, 80 not out, was the pick of the batsmen while Sahibzada Farhan, 58, and Asif Ali, 42, were the main contributors.
For Lahore Region Blues, Hussain Tallat, Khalid Usman and Hafeez bagged one wicket each for 8, 23 and 29 runs respectively. Sohaib Maqsood of Faisalabad Region was declared man of the match.
