Feds Expect Good Performance In Youth Games

National Sports Federations (NSF) expects good performance from athletes in Summer Youth Games scheduled to take place in Buenos Aires (Argentina) from October 6 to 18.
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :National Sports Federations (NSF) expects good performance from athletes in Summer Youth Games scheduled to take place in Buenos Aires (Argentina) from October 6 to 18.
Three Pakistani athletes will participate in the Games including Farhan Amjid (weightlifting), Inayat Ullah (wrestling) and Nubaira Babur (shooting).
Talking to APP, Pakistan Wrestling Federation, Secretary Muhammad Arshad Sattar said Inayat Ullah has bright chances of winning a medal in the Games. "He is training very hard in the camp underway at Lahore since two months. He will be participating in the 65 kg of the Games," he said.
Pakistan National Shooting Training academy Secretary Muhammad Idrees said nobody can claim of winning a medal in the games beforehand as there are top athletes performing in the mega event. "We will try to perform our best on that day and hopefully good results will be obtained," he said.
Pakistan Weightlifting Federation Secretary Amjid Amin Butt said there is no chance of winning medal in the Games as we are way behind other foreign countries as compared to skills, infrastructure and finance.
"We have high hopes from the government to improve the whole infrastructure of sports so that in future we can expect medals from our athletes," he said.
