PARIS, , (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Aug, 2017 ) - Former Manchester United and Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov has joined Kerala Blasters of the Indian Super League, the club announced on Wednesday.
Former Bulgarian international Berbatov, 36, will link up with his former United teammate Wes Brown at the team in southern India.
Berbatov, who also starred for Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen and English side Fulham, had been without a club since leaving PAOK Thessaloniki a year ago.
Another Old Trafford veteran, former assistant coach Rene Meulensteen, is Kerala's new boss. The ISL, which will be in its fourth season, will grow to 10 teams this year.
