Football: Istanbul Powerhouses Drop Points In Super Lig

Turkish football giants Galatasaray, Besiktas and Fenerbahce dropped points in match week 9 in Turkey's Spor Toto Super Lig.
ISTANBUL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :Turkish football giants Galatasaray, Besiktas and Fenerbahce dropped points in match week 9 in Turkey's Spor Toto Super Lig.
On Friday, Galatasaray and Bursaspor drew in a 1-1 match at home, which was enough for the Lions to stay on the top of the league with 19 points.
On Saturday, Fenerbahce also drew Sivasspor 0-0 in an away match.
With this result, Fenerbahce ranked 15th in the league with nine points, 10 points away from the leader.
On Sunday evening, Besiktas was defeated by Goztepe 2-0 in an away match and placed fifth with 15 points.
The other two Istanbul clubs Basaksehir and Kasimpasa followed the leader closely as they ranked second and third, with 18 points each.
