Football: Peru beats New Zealand 2-0, reaches first World Cup since 1982

Jefferson Farfan and Christian Ramos scored to lift Peru into their first World Cup since 1982, defeating New Zealand 2-0 Wednesday to capture the final berth in next year's finals in Russia

Lima, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Nov, 2017 ) :Jefferson Farfan and Christian Ramos scored to lift Peru into their first World Cup since 1982, defeating New Zealand 2-0 Wednesday to capture the final berth in next year's finals in Russia.

Farfan struck in the 27th minute and Ramos scored in the 65th to give "Los Incas" their fifth overall World Cup finals appearance and the first in 35 years.
