LONDON, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Augst,2016) - Sunderland have signed youngsters Paddy McNair and Donald love from Manchester United for a combined fee of 5.5 million Pounds ($7.1 million, 6.4 million Euros), the club announced on Thursday. The versatile 21-year-old players have both signed four-year contracts and join former United manager David Moyes at the Stadium of Light. Northern Ireland international McNair, who can play in defence or midfield, made 27 appearances for United, while Scotland Under-21 international Love, a full-back/midfielder, played twice last season.
"Paddy is a young, athletic player who is improving all the time," Moyes said in a Sunderland press release. "He has experience for Northern Ireland and we want to bring as many international players to the club as we can. "Donald comes highly recommended and is another young player who I hope can develop and improve here." Sunderland open their Premier League campaign at Manchester City on Saturday.
