Fraile caps great escape with victory on 14th stage of Tour

Spaniard Omar Fraile claimed the biggest win of his career in the 14th stage of the Tour de France on Saturday.

Mende, France, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jul, 2018 ) :Spaniard Omar Fraile claimed the biggest win of his career in the 14th stage of the Tour de France on Saturday.

Fraile, who was part of an early breakaway that left the main peloton nearly 20 minutes in arrears, caught Belgium's Jasper Stuyven (Trek) only 2km from the finish of the 188km ride from Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux to Mende.

A year after claiming his maiden stage win on the Giro d'Italia, Astana rider Fraile clinched his maiden Tour de France win.
