France centre Mermoz returns to Toulouse

France international centre Maxime Mermoz rejoined Toulouse from Newcastle on a two-year contract, the Top 14 club announced Wednesday.

Toulouse, France, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2018 ) :France international centre Maxime Mermoz rejoined Toulouse from Newcastle on a two-year contract, the Top 14 club announced Wednesday.

Mermoz, 31 and capped 35 times by France, came through Toulouse's youth training centre and is a three-time French champion, having won the Top 14 with Toulouse (2008), Perpignan (2009) and Toulon (2014), and also a three-time European champion with the latter.

Also signing up for two years was centre Theo Belan, 26, who came through the ranks at Toulon before joining Lyon.
