General Council Meeting Elects Office Bearers Of AFL Pakistan Unanimously

The General Council meeting of the Australian Football League (AFL) Pakistan was held here on Tuesday in which all office bearers were elected unanimously.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2018 ) : The General Council meeting of the Australian Football League (AFL) Pakistan was held here on Tuesday in which all office bearers were elected unanimously. As per decision, Sardar Tariq Mehmood and Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali were unanimously elected as President and Secretary General of AFL Pakistan, for the next four years respectively. Other office Bearers included Senior Vice-president Raja Nazeemul Ameen; Vice-presidents; Col (R) Amjad, Raja Nadeem Khairat, and Dr.
Muhammad Shahbaz; Deputy Secretary General, Syed Sharafat Hussain Bukhari; Finance Secretary Muhammad Ashfaq and members of Executive Committee, Shafqat Niazi, Shahid Ahmed, Irfan Khan and Zubair Ahmed.
The newly elected President, Sardar Tariq Mehmood thanked the house to elect and assured that all possible steps will be taken for the promotion of Australian Football League Pakistan in the country. He said that the National Championship will be held in March at Islamabad.
He also said that the executive committee meeting will be held in the next week to hold the Coaching Course.
