Independence Day Cycling On August 13

A 42km Independence Day Cycling Race will be organized from Peshawar to Nowshera on August 13, 2017, President KP Cycling Association Nisar Ahmad told APP
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2017 ) : A 42km Independence Day Cycling Race will be organized from Peshawar to Nowshera on August 13, 2017, President KP Cycling Association Nisar Ahmad told APP here on Friday.
He said the race will paddle off from historical Fort Balahisar Peshawar at 9.00 a.m with a total of 45 cyclists from 10 different clubs are taking part. He said squash legend Qamar Zaman will formally inaugurate the Cycle Race in the morning while it would be culminated at DC Office, District Nowshera.
Nisar Ahmad said that Deputy Commissioner Nowshera Khawjah Muhammad Sikander Zeeshan will grace the occasion as chief guest at the closing ceremony and will distribute trophies and cash prizes among top six cyclists.
He said Independence Day Cycle Race is an annual feature of the KP Cycling Association and like every year, this year the Race will be organize in befitting manners. He said a media van alongside the cyclists has already been arranged, thanks to the health department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
