Independence Day Open Girls Tape Ball Tournament Held At Dialdas Club

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2024) In a thrilling display of sporting spirit, the two-day Independence Day Open Girls Tape Ball Tournament was organized at the Diyaldas Club Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Friends Table Tennis Club Hyderabad and a renowned private sports company.
Former Chairman of Site Association Muhammad Amir Shahab graced the occasion as a special guest, while the President of Friends Table Tennis Club Muhammad Shahid Qaim Khani, Qasim Qureshi, and other esteemed members of the organizing committee also attended the event, lending their support to the talented young participants.
A total of 8 teams, including the formidable Friends Table Tennis Club, Gul Sports team, Al Qureshi team, Seven Sports team, Hayat team, Wims academy, Seven Sports 2, and MNC Women Cricket, are competing for top honours in the tournament, showcasing their skills and determination.
Speaking to the media, Mohammad Amir Shahab said that talent is abundant among the female students of Sindh in cricket activities. "Today, he had the pleasure of witnessing the girls participating in the cricket tournament, playing with remarkable enthusiasm and skill, which will undoubtedly improve their physical and mental well-being through sports activities", he said.
He emphasized that female students have the potential to make the name of their institutions, cricket academies, and the country shine bright in the future. Such sports activities are essential for girls, cricket eagerly girl students should be encouraged to participate in these activities for their progress and development at national and international levels, he added.
