Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic has withdrawn from the squad for the United States' upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Peru with a torn calf muscle.
Los Angeles, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Oct, 2018 ) :Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic has withdrawn from the squad for the United States' upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Peru with a torn calf muscle.
US Soccer said in a statement Friday that Pulisic and fellow midfielder Tyler Adams had pulled out of the squad, New York Red Bulls' Adams because of back spasms.
The Americans had announced that Pulisic and experienced midfielder Michael Bradley would be back after missing the team's games against Brazil and Mexico last month as interim coach Sarachan ran the rule over a younger crop of players.
Instead, Philadelphia Union winger Fafa Picault has been added a 23-man squad set to report this weekend to Tampa, Florida, where the United States will play Colombia on October 11.
Five days later they face Peru in a friendly in East Hartford.
The sequence of US friendlies will also include away games with England and Italy later this year as the Americans continue their rebuilding following their shock failure to qualify for this year's World Cup.
