International Kashan Umar Advances To U-14 Q-finals In Nazim Peshawar Floodlight Tennis

International Kashan Umar advanced to Under-14 quarter-finals after recording victory in the pre-quarter-final of the ongoing Nazim Peshawar Ramadan Floodlight Tennis Championship being played here at Synthetic Courts on Thursday
Kashan Umar, who represented Pakistan in the Junior Davis Cup played at Katmandu, Nepal in 2017 in the Under-12 category, is the top seeded player faced little resistance against Haseeb Khan of KP in a marathon three sets battle, the score was 6-3, 2-6 and 6-2. Besides wining the pre-quarter-final, Kashan Umar also registered victory against Jamal Shah in the second round and Babar Khan in the first round, both in the straight sets.
In the other match international Hamza Roman, a former Pakistan No. 10, beat Hammad Shah 6-2, and 6-1, Uzair Khan beat Ali Zain by 6-3 and 6-2, Afzal beat Arsalan by 6-1 and 6-1, Shahsawar Khan beat Zain Khan by 6-4 and 6-2.
Asralan Khan In the other matches Hamza Roman, seeded 3rd in the Under-14 category, defeated Talha Khan by 6-2 and 6-1 while in the boys doubles Under-14 Kashan Umar and Uzair Khan beat Taimur Khan and Ali Zain by 6-2 and 6-1, Shahawar Khan and Haris Khan beat Hammad Shah and Zain by 6-1 and 6-2, Hamza Roman and Kamran Khan beat Haseeb Ullah and Faisal Khan by 6-2 and 6-1. Arsalan Khan and Afzal beat Jamal Shah and Talha by 6-2 and 6-3.
In the Men singles top seeded Barkat Ullah of KP police defeated Shoaib Khan of PAF by 6-3 and 6-4, top seeded and ranked 5 in the national ranking Barkat Ullah of KP Police beat Shoaib Kha of PAF by 6-3 and 6-4.
In the other matches Yousaf Khalil of PAF beat Ejaz Ahmad of KP Police 6-4 and 6-2, Asad Ullah of Afghanistan No. 1 beat Saqib Hayat of SNGPL by 6-3 and 6-3, Abbas KP beat Israr Gul of KP Police by 7-5 (6-6) and 6-3 as all the winners moved to the semi-finals of the Men singles.
