Khan, Sharjah Advance In Fazale Mehmood National Inter-Club Cricket

Khan Club and Sharjah Club advanced to next round in the ongoing PCB Fazale Mehmood Inter-Club Cricket Tournament being played here at Gymkhana Cricket Ground on Thursday.
In the first match Great Club won the toss and elected to bat first by setting up a target of 80 runs with Mansoor making 22 runs and Muhtasab scoring 20 runs, none of the other batsmen could cross the double figures.
For Sharjah Club Shahzeb with his bowling haul grabbed eight wickets, Ibrahim got one wicket.
In reply, Khan club chased the target for the loss of one wicket after playing 11.3 overs.
Johar Ali hammered a cracking 53 runs not out. Imran scored 15 runs. For Great club Salman took one wicket.
In the second match Gul club won the toss and elected to bat first by setting up 83 runs in which Taimor (23) and Tayyab scored 22 runs were the main runs contributors. For Sharjah club Saif Ullah grabbed five wickets, Zain Khan took three wickets, Alamgir and Ibrar Ali got one wicket each.
In reply, Sharjah sports Club chased the target for the loss of two wickets with Aamir Azmat struck 46 runs with four boundaries and two sixes, Haroon scored 23 runs. For Gul Club Taimor Shah and Qaiser Jamaltook one wicket each.
