Lodhran Wins WAPDA Cricket Tournament

Lodrhan Cricket Club has won trophey of All Pakistan WAPDA Cricket Tournament played at Dring Stadium Bahawalpur.
BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Sep, 2018 ) :Lodrhan Cricket Club has won trophey of All Pakistan WAPDA Cricket Tournament played at Dring Stadium Bahawalpur.
A ceremony to award trophy was held at the stadium where Chief Executive Officer, Multan Electric Company (MEPCO), Chaudhary Muhammad Akram awarded trophy to the winner team.
The runner up team, Al-Abbas Cricket Club was also given cup and prize. Total 25 teams from across the country participated in the tournament.
Speaking on the occasion, Akram said that Wapda had been encouraging cricket by funding and promoting spots games. "Wapda has been patronizing sports games by funding them," he said. Senior officials of Wapda and other people belonging todifferent walks of life attended the ceremony.
