More matches decided in the 31st edition of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Open Snooker Championship being played here at Tay Tay Niak Snooker Club, City Gulbahar on Thursday.

On the second day matches Muhammad Aqeel of Hazara beat Sikander of Dera Ismail Khan by 3-1, the score was 32-46, 55-23, 70-9, and 66-33, Ali Pattan of Hazara beat Fahad of Peshawar by 3-0, the score was 61-22, 54-30 and 77-34, Fahad Jibran of Hazara shocked Atta Ullah of Swabi by 3-2, the score was 30-43, 90-7, 45-67, 55-23, and 63-22, Saud of Swat recorded victory against Yousaf of Hazara in another one-sided match, the score was 44-30, 65-33, 70-31, Saleem of AJK beat Nasir Kundi of Dera Ismail Khan by 3-0, Aamir Shehzad of Azad Jammu and Kashmir beat Muzamil by 3-0, Sarbaland of Peshawar recorded victory against Nabeel of AJK by 3-0, Adnan of Azad Jammu and Kashmir beat Amir Goga of Hazara by 3-2 in a thrilling match. Adnan, the top seeded player faced tough resistance against Aamir as Aamir got the first two frames but failed to click in the remaining three frames won by Adnan.

Abdullah of Hazara beat Imran Ghafar of Swat in another thrilling match wherein both were stretched to five sets battle. Abdullah won the first two frames but failed to click in the third and fourth frames and when both were locked 2-2 Abdullah took the fifth and decisive frame by 91-6. He also recorded a break of 80 points.

In the other matches Awan Shah of Hazara beat Imtiaz Khan of Peshawar by 3-1, Abu Bakar of AJK beat Waseem Abbasi of Hazara by 3-0, Imran of Hazara beat Ali Pattan by 3-1, Yasir of Peshawar beat Shah Khan of AJK by 3-0, Yasir Shehzad of Peshawar beat Nasir Kundi of Dera Ismail Khan, Farhan of Dera Ismail Khan beat Sikander by 3-0, Farhan of Peshawar beat Aqil of Hazara by 3-0, Mujtaba Ali of Swat beat Shahab of Khyber District, Rafique of Khyber District beat Arshad Siddique of Peshawar, Shafi of Swat overpowered Jalil of Peshawar by 3-2 in a thrilling battle.
