Motorcycling: Marquez On Moto2 Pole In Catalonia

MONTMELS, Spain, , (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2017 ) - Alex Marquez maintained his Moto2 championship challenge on Saturday by claiming his second pole position of the season for Sunday's Catalan Grand Prix.
In his home region, Marquez was too good for his championship rivals as his best time of 1min 49.
408 secs means he will lead the front row from Italian pair Mattia Pasini and Lorenzo Baldassarri. Championship leader Franco Morbidelli will start on the second row in sixth, one place behind his closest challenger in the title race Thomas Luthi of Switzerland.
