MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Aug, 2024) The top management of education board Multan has announced to name the sports complex of Multan Board after the Olympic gold medalist hero, Arshad Nadeem.

Chairman of Multan Board Hafiz Mohammad Qasim said in a statement Arshad Nadeem's achievement is historic in the sense that he broke the 118-year-old record of Olympic history.

Therefore, it has been decided to name the Sports Complex of Education Board Multan after Arshad Nadeem and its formal approval will be obtained from the Governing Board meeting of Education Board Multan.

Secretary Board Khurram Shahzad Qureshi and Sports Incharge Malik Nisar Ahmad said Arshad Nadeem

participated in the district schools competitions of Multan Board Sports session of 2011-13 and broke the Javelin throw record of Multan Board.

They said Arshad Nadeem's younger brother participated in All Pakistan Inter Boards Athletics Islamabad this year from Multan Board and he also won gold medal.
