Ohtani Hits Homer, Leaves Game With Sprained Ankle

Japanese two-way player Shohei Ohtani belted his fourth home run of the season before leaving Friday night's Major League Baseball game against the New York Yankees with a sprained ankle.
Los Angeles, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2018 ) :Japanese two-way player Shohei Ohtani belted his fourth home run of the season before leaving Friday night's Major League Baseball game against the New York Yankees with a sprained ankle.
Ohtani, who was the designated hitter for the Los Angeles Angels, smashed a homer in his first at-bat of the contest which the Yankees won 4-3. In his only other batting appearance he grounded out in the fifth inning.
The Angels have listed Ohtani as day-to-day which means he might not play Saturday against fellow Japanese player Masahiro Tanaka of the Yankees. Ohtani's next pitching start is scheduled for Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles.
