Pak Taekwondo Team Leaves For Nepal

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th May, 2018 ) :A four-member Pakistan team left for Nepal on Wednesday to feature in the 2nd Kathmandu International Taekwondo Championship to take place from May 17 to 20.
According to the President of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation, Waseem Ahmed, the four athletes participating in the championship include Alamgir Ali, Muhammad Waqar, Rafi Ullah and Adnan Maqsood.
He said players from 12 to 14 countries will participate in the event.
"The aim of participation in the event is to give maximum international exposure to national athletes in order to improve their techniques and skills. "This championship will be beneficial for preparations of upcoming major international events including the South Asian Games," he said.
