Pak Team Bags Gold Medal In Asian Volleyball C'ship

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) Pakistan team has created history by winning the gold medal in the 2nd Asian Men’s U-16 Volleyball Championship 2025.

Pakistan defeated powerhouse Iran by 3-2 (22-25, 21-25, 30-28, 25-21, 15-10) in a nail-biting 5-set thriller in the final at Nakhon Phanom, Thailand.

After being down 0-2, the Pakistani team showed unmatched resilience, making a phenomenal comeback to clinch the match and emerge as Champions of Asia, said a press release.

The match saw incredible contributions from top performers including Junaid, Faizan, Talha and Irfan.

Their combined spirit and fighting mentality led Pakistan to a historic victory over Asia's volleyball giant, Iran.

With this victory, Pakistan finishes at the top of Asia – an unprecedented achievement in the history of Pakistan Volleyball.

The team not only secured the 1st Position but also qualified earlier for the FIVB U-17 World Championship 2026.
