Pak Team To Feature In Kathmandu Int'l Taekwondo C'ship

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2018 ) :A four-member Pakistan team will feature in the 2nd Kathmandu International Taekwondo Championship to take place in Kathmandu, Nepal from May 17 to 20.
According to Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF), the four athletes participating in the championship include Alamgir Ali, Muhammad Waqar, Rafi Ullah and Adnan Maqsood.
The said event is being organized by United Taekwondo Dojang under the patronage of Nepal Taekwondo Federation (NTF).
The Pakistani athletes will depart to Nepal on Wednesday to participate in the event. The aim of participation in the event is to give maximum international exposure to national athletes in order to improve their techniques and skills. This championship will be beneficial for preparations of upcoming major international events including the South Asian Games.
