Pakistan Archery Camp For Asian Games To Be Setup From July 15 At Peshawar

Pakistan Archery Federation decided to setup camp for the forthcoming Asian Games will be commencing here at Qayyum Sports Complex from July 15, 2018.
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jul, 2018 ) :Pakistan Archery Federation decided to setup camp for the forthcoming Asian Games will be commencing here at Qayyum sports Complex from July 15, 2018.
This was stated by Secretary General Pakistan Archery Federation (PAF) Muhammad Wisal while talking to APP here on Wednesday. He said arrangements for the smooth conduct of the camp already been in progress.
Muhammad Wisal disclosed that for the camp they have already short-listed six members squash with three female players and as many male archers.
He said the trials in this connection organized last month and after selecting the probables it was decided to hold the camp under the aegis of Pakistan Archery Federation in Peshawar with the collaboration of Pakistan Olympic Association and Pakistan Sports board.
He said the male archers comprising Muhammad Tayyab, Muhammad Owais and Muhammad Nadeem, all from Pakistan Army, while the female including Aqsa Nawad of Pakistan Wapda, Umm-e-Zahra of Pakistan Army and Nabila Kausar, also from Pakistan Army.
He said the federation nominated coaches for the camp comprising Ajlal Uddin and Sarfaraz Ahmad. He said Sarfaraz is recently got coaching certificates from Chinese Taipei and Malaysia. He said, the archery event part of the 18th Jakarta (Indonesia) Asian Games will be played from August 22-28, 2018 wherein archers from 26 countries from across Asia will be taking part. He said the national team will be leaving for Jakarta, Indonesia on August 19, 2018 and will be coming back on August 29,2018.
