
Pakistan, Bangladesh Unveil T20 Series Trophy In Dhaka

Both teams are all set to lock horns in first T20I match on July 20 (tomorrow)
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan The trophy for the upcoming T20 series between Pakistan and Bangladesh was officially unveiled during a ceremony held at a local hotel in Dhaka on Saturday.
Captains Agha Salman of Pakistan and Liton Das of Bangladesh attended the event and participated in a pre-series photo shoot.
The three-match T20 series is set to begin on Sunday, July 20, at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. The opening game will commence at 5:00 PM (Pakistan Standard Time) . Agha Salman will lead the Pakistan side, while Liton Das will captain the hosts.
Pakistan's 15-member squad arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday and began their preparations with a training session on Friday after a rest day on Thursday. The team practiced extensively, focusing on batting, bowling, and fielding drills at the match venue.
All three T20Is—scheduled for July 20, 22, and 24—will be played at the same stadium in Dhaka.
The last bilateral T20 series between the two sides took place in Pakistan in May, where the Green Shirts secured a dominant 3-0 whitewash over Bangladesh.
The Bangladesh cricket board (BCB) announced ticket prices for the series, which range from 300 to 3,500 Bangladeshi Taka, aiming to make the games accessible to fans from all walks of life. BCB has also launched a digital ticketing system, with online bookings having started from July 15.
