Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Spending Huge Amount On Cricket & Infrastructure: Riaz Pirzada

Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada on Friday said Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was annually spending a huge amount on cricket and its infrastructure.
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Mar, 2018 ) :Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada on Friday said Pakistan Cricket board (PCB) was annually spending a huge amount on cricket and its infrastructure.
Speaking in the National Assembly during the session hour, he said the domestic cricket infrastructure development needed improvement in the country for which PCB is trying its level best for up-gradation of playing facilities and opportunities for the players.
He said PCB is making improvements in the domestic structure on as and when required basis as per changes in the game of cricket due to modern techniques and technologies.
PCB has established High Performance Centers at Karachi and Multan which are operational, he added.
Riaz further said PCB has future plans to establish High Performance Cricket Centers in other regions, to facilitate the national/domestic and local players along with developing "Fitness Centers" at all the grounds/venues where First Class/domestic matches are played to enhance the physical fitness of local players.
PCB is in the process of upgrading the National Stadium Karachi to hold the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 and will also help in holding domestic matches in Karachi in the future, he informed the lower house.
