Pakistani Players In Commonwealth Advised To Leave Positive Image : Muzammil Hussain

Chef-de-Mission of Pakistan's 21st Commonwealth Games-bound contingent General (Retd) Muzammil Hussain has advised the players representing Pakistan in Commonwealth Games to exhibit excellent sportsmanship spirit and high morale so as to leave a positive and friendly image of Pakistan to the players of other countries.
KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Apr, 2018 ) :Chef-de-Mission of Pakistan's 21st Commonwealth Games-bound contingent General (Retd) Muzammil Hussain has advised the players representing Pakistan in Commonwealth Games to exhibit excellent sportsmanship spirit and high morale so as to leave a positive and friendly image of Pakistan to the players of other countries.
He said this while talking to the Pakistan's contingent players and officials at a ceremony, said a statement issued here on Tuesday. He said that the better performers will win in the ground and the players should work hard and use all of their capabilities and skills.
Later, a reception was hosted in honor of the contesting teams of the Commonwealth Games in the Athlete Village, which was followed by another ceremony of hoisting the flag of participating countries while national anthems of different countries were also played.
Representatives of Games Village, Ms. Sarah Garrigan and Mark Stockwell welcomed the players and officials of the participating teams. Gen.(Retd) Muzammil Hussain also presented the souvenirs to Ms.
Sarah Garrigan and Mark Stockwell. Secretary General of Pakistan Olympic Association, Muhammad Khalid Mehmood also joined the ceremony. Among other notables, Manager of Pakistan National Hockey Team, Hassan Sardar, Deputy Chef-de-Mission of contingent of Pakistan in Commonwealth Games, Muhammad Shafiq and Admin Officer Syed Habib Shah were also present.
