Punjab Int’l Swimming Complex A Suitable Platform For Potential Swimmers: Secretary Sports

Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan said with the inauguration of State of the Art Punjab International Swimming Complex at Nishtar Park Sports Complex on January 16, a new era of swimming has started in the country.
LAHORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2018) : Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan said with the inauguration of State of the Art Punjab International Swimming Complex at Nishtar Park Sports Complex on January 16, a new era of swimming has started in the country. Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan, in his statement on Wednesday, said that the State of the Art International Swimming Complex is a notable milestone achieved under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
“Now Pakistan has a suitable platform to produce world class swimmers and the prospects are quite bright for Pakistan swimmers to bag laurels in international swimming competitions,” he added. Elaborating the major features of State of the Art Punjab International Swimming Complex, Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan said: “The State of the Art Punjab International Swimming Pool is laced with world class facilities including the facility of warm and cold water.
The temperature of the water can also be changed as per requirement and weather conditions”. “There are separate swimming pools for men and women. Men have 50m all weather open pool while women will swim in 25m all weather indoor pool.
The Swimming Complex is also equipped with male/female gymnasium, video analysis room, steam rooms, lockers and changing rooms, game control room, kids play area, chess room, mini sports theatre and sports shop,” he explained.
