Quaid-i-Azam Games: Punjab's Judokas Claim Five Gold Medals

Punjab claimed five gold medals and stayed at top at the medal chart on the second day of Quaid-i-Azam Inter Provincial Games here at Pakistan Sports Board's Biomechanical Lab Hall on Tuesday
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Dec, 2017 ) :Punjab claimed five gold medals and stayed at top at the medal chart on the second day of Quaid-i-Azam Inter Provincial Games here at Pakistan sports board's Biomechanical Lab Hall on Tuesday.
KPK and FATA remained second with each winning two gold medals, while Gilgit-Baltistan finished third with one gold medal. In men's 50kg weight category, Punjab's Hogan got gold medal, while FATA's Ijaz Ahmed and KPK's Akbar took silver and bronze medals, respectively.
In 55kg category FATA's Ahsan earned gold, while Sindh's S Mustafa and Balochistan's Sher Khan grabbed silver and bronze medals, respectively. In 60kg category, KPK's Waheed won gold medals, while Balochistan's Shamsullah and Azad Kashmir's Javed Ahmed earned silver and bronze medals respectively.
In 66kg category, Punjab's Umar Mukhtar claimed gold, while FATA's Tariq got silver medal. Balochistan's Shoaib and Azad Kashmir's M islam both remained third to take bronze medals.
In open men's category Punjab's Faisal claimed gold and KPK's Shafiullah took silver medal.
Balochistan's Qasim Khan and FATA's Usman both grabbed bronze medals. In judo women competitions, KPK's Shah Rukh got gold in 36kg weight category, while FATA's Haseena, Azad Kashmir's Anosha got silver medal, while Punjab's Mariya got bronze medal respectively.
In 40kg, Punjab's Saba took gold, while KPK's Samariya won bronze medal. Balochistan's Khizra and Sindh�s Anosha Rafique both remained third to bag bronze medals. In 44kg Punjab�s Mufsal earned gold, while Sindh�s Marriyum and KPK�s Bushra claimed silver and bronze medals respectively.
In 48kg FATA's Nadia claimed gold, while Punjab's Rushna took silver. KPK's Maria and Balochistan's Khizra both got bronze medals. In women open weight category, Gilgit-Baltistan's Sammiya won gold medal, Sindh's Kanza got silver, while Punjab's Kashaf and Balochistan's Farrah Naz both earned bronze medals.
