Rangers' Scottish Cup Tie Called Off Due To Frozen Pitch

Glasgow, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2019 ) :Rangers' Scottish Cup fourth round tie at Cowdenbeath was postponed less than three hours before kick-off due to a frozen pitch on Friday.
Referee Scott Millar is understood to have made the decision after being called in for a late pitch inspection at icy Central Park.
The game against Steven Gerrard's Rangers has been rescheduled for January 30, but Cowdenbeath boss Gary Bollan was left frustrated with the postponement.
It came after the Scottish Football Association insisted on the pitch inspection and Bollan fumed: "To get to this late stage so close to kick-off is massively disappointing.
"We're annoyed as well. The area in the corner is touch and go. It's firm but I wouldn't say it's dangerous as such.
"With a bit of work between now and kick-off it could have been made playable. Everywhere else is absolutely ideal."
