La Rochelle's Fijian flanker-cum-centre Levani Botia has been ruled out for six months with torn knee ligaments, the Top 14 club said Thursday.

La Rochelle, France, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Apr, 2018 ) :La Rochelle's Fijian flanker-cum-centre Levani Botia has been ruled out for six months with torn knee ligaments, the Top 14 club said Thursday.

Botia, one of the stand-out performers in the French league this season, sustained the injury in La Rochelle's 29-17 defeat by Scarlets in the European champions Cup quarter-final on the weekend.

It is the second such injury for the 28-year-old, who signed with La Rochelle when they were in the second division Pro D2 in April 2014.
