Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Team Wins All Gold at European Championships in Baku

BAKU (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th May, 2019) Russian national rhythmic gymnastics team has won the European Championships, which was held in Baku from May 16 to May 19, clearing all eight gold medals.

In senior competitions, Dina Averina won gold in hoop and ribbon, while her sister Arina Averina got the top spot in ball and clubs.

Dina also won silver in clubs, while the team's captain Aleksandra Soldatova was ranked second in ball and ribbon.

In junior groups' competitions, the Russian team of Amina Khaldarova, Elizaveta Koteneva, Alexandra Semibratova, Dana Semirenko, Alisa Tishchenko and Anna Batasova won in five ribbons and five hoops.

Thus, Russia also won junior team and overall team competitions, followed by the Belarusian team in both cases.
