SBP Holding Sports Events Regularly To Engage Youth In Sports: Nadeem Sarwar

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2019 ) :Director General Sports board Punjab Nadeem Sarwar said Friday that the SBP was holding major sports events regularly to provide sufficient opportunities to talented youngsters of the province to show their potential.

He said: "The talented youth of the province are our an asset and we will utilize all our energies to develop their sports skills. The Sports Board Punjab will continue holding major sports events in future." He said that thousands of young male and female athletes from all nine divisions took part in Annual Sports Calendar and recently-held Punjab Games competitions.

"We provided equal opportunities to all communities including special children and transgender in the Punjab Games," he asserted.

The SBP is striving to hunt fresh talent from across the province. "The holding of Annual Sports Calendar and Punjab Games competitions was also part of the move. So far we have found several promising male and female players through these competitions," said the SBP DG.
