ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2018 ) :Sardar Tariq Mehmood and Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali have been unanimously elected as President and Secretary of the Australian Football League Pakistan (AFLP) for a term of four years, respectively.
The General Council meeting of the Australian Football League Pakistan was held here in which all office bearers were elected unanimously said a press release issued here. The other office bearers include Senior Vice-president Raja Nazeemul Ameen; Vice-presidents; Col (R) Amjad, Raja Nadeem Khairat, and Dr.
Muhammad Shahbaz; Deputy Secretary General, Syed Sharafat Hussain Bukhari; Finance Secretary Muhammad Ashfaq and members of Executive Committee, Shafqat Niazi, Shahid Ahmed, Irfan Khan and Zubair Ahmed.
The newly elected President, Sardar Tariq thanked the house and assured that all possible steps will be taken for the promotion of Australian Football League Pakistan. He said that the National Championship will be held in March in Islamabad. He also said that the executive committee meeting will be held in the next week and to hold the Coaching Course.
