Top Seed Muqadas Of Wapda Advance To Next Round Squash

Top seed Muqadas Ashraf of Wapda advanced to next round after recording victory against Maira of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the ongoing National Red Crescent Women Squash Championship being played here at PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex on Thursday
Besides Muqadas Ashraf, who recently represented Pakistan in the International Tournaments in United Kingdom, did not take much time against Maira Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Muqadas Ashraf, who did her coaching for two years in Iran, also won the recently concluded DG Ranger National Women Squash Championship.
When contacted Muqadas Ashraf she appreciated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association for organizing two tournaments in two months which helped the women players to keep themselves fit for the international events.
She said that organizing more tournaments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would also give opportunities to the look players to play against national and international players and learn good things from them.
Muqadas Ashraf in the first match marched into victory in straight set against Maira Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the score was 11-9, 11-2 and 11-7. In the other Hira Aqeel of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa defeated Sibgha Arshad of Punjab by 3-1, the score was 11-9, 11-6, 8-11 and 11-7.
Noor Ul Ain Ejaz of SNGPL defeated Hina of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by 3-0, the score was 11-2, 11-0 and 11-2, current Under-19 Champion from Pakistan Wapda recorded victory against Zohra of KP by 3-0, the score was 11-3, 11-2 and 11-7.
International squash player Saima Shoukat of Wapda defeated Kulsoom of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by 11-4, 11-3 and 11-2, Nimra Aqeel of KP beat Kainat Khan of Pakistan Army by 3-0, the score was 11-3, 11-4 and 11-3.
Noor Ul Huda of SNGPL defeated Tayyaba Abbas of Punjab by 3-0, the score was 11-5, 11-9 and 11-8, second seeded Rushna Mehboob of ZTBL beat Sana Sher Bahadar by 3-0, the score was 11-4, 11-3 and 11-9.
