Ushan, Sara Advance To Final Of Begum Kulsum Saifullah Tourney

Ushna Sohail and Sara Mahboob advanced to the final of ladies singles of Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan National Ranking Tennis Tournament-2018 after defeating their opponents at PTF Complex, Islamabad on Friday.

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Dec, 2018 ) :Ushna Sohail and Sara Mahboob advanced to the final of ladies singles of Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan National Ranking Tennis Tournament-2018 after defeating their opponents at PTF Complex, Islamabad on Friday.

Ushna defeated Sara Mansoor 1-6, 6-4 and 6-0, while Sarah Mahboob overwhelmed Shimza Naz 6-0, 6-2.

In boys singles under 18 semifinals M. Shoaib beat Musa Chaudhry 6-1, 6-4, while Subhan Bin Salik thrashed Sami Zeb 6-2, 6-2.

In boys singles under 14 semifinals Uzair Khan beat Kashan Umar 7-6 (4), 6-4 and Sami Zeb overcame Abdul Hanan 6-0, 6-1.

The semifinal fixtures of Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan ITF Men's Pro-Circuit Futures (F-2) Tennis Tournament-2018 were also held at the PTF Complex.

Tournament's top seed Cheong-Eui Kim of Korea beat third seed Sora Fukuda of Japan 6-0, 6-3 in men's singles event, while fourth seed Kai Wehnelt of Germany defeated second seed Rio Noguchi Japan 5-7, 6-3, 6-3.

In men's doubles category semifinals, the pair of Sora Fukuda (Japan) and Rio Noguchi (Japan) beat the pair of Anton Chekhov (Russia) and Kai Wehnelt (Germany) 6-3, 6-1, while the pair of Darko Jandric (Serbia) and Cheong-Eui Kim (Korea) defeated the pair of Mohammad Abid Ali Khan Akbar (Pakistan) and Shamael Chaudhry(GreatBritain 6-2, 6-4.
