Usyk knocks out Bellew to defend cruiserweight titles

London, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2018 ) :Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk defended his WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO cruiserweight titles with an eighth round knockout of Britain's Tony Bellew in Manchester on Saturday.

Roared on by passionate home crowd, Bellew started brightly to take the first three rounds against Usyk, who has never lost a professional fight.

But the man described as the "perfect boxer" by British heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua, soon fought back and took the next four rounds before delivering the knockout blow to leave Bellew floored.
