WAPDA Win 3rd National Women Weightlifting C'ship

ISLAMABAD, Jan 5 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Jan, 2017 ) : While overpowering its competitors, the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) won the 3rd National Championship held at Railway Stadium.
WAPDA secured 91 points in the championship with five gold, one silver and one bronze medals, said a press release.
Pakistan Railways stood second in the championship with 76 points, while Pakistan Army remained at 3rd position by obtaining 50 points.
The players of as many as eight teams exhibited their power in run for medals in different categories of the 3-day championship. The teams included WAPDA, Pakistan Railways, Pakistan Army, Islamabad, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Sindh. APP/raz/kmd � 21:36/21:41/21:41
