ZTBL clinched the Patron's Trophy Grade II 2017-18 title played at Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2018 ) :ZTBL clinched the Patron's Trophy Grade II 2017-18 title played at Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi on Tuesday. ZTBL beat Ghani Glass by 5 wickets in the final.
ZTBL started the final day with 61 for 4 in their second innings and achieved the target scoring 134 runs for 5 in 33.4 overs. Aqib Shah 47 not out, Saad Nasim 31 out batted well. For Ghani Glass Muhammad Umar bagged 4 wickets for 60 runs.
ZTBL has made 293 runs in their first innings. Ghani Glass had scored 55 and 369 in their first and second innings, respectively.
Team ZTBL was awarded with Rs 500,000 and a trophy while Ghani Glass got Rs 250,000 and a trophy.
Man of the final Aqib Shah (ZTBL) took away Rs 50,000 while best batsman Zeeshan Ashraf (Ghani Glass, 512 runs) and best bowler Muhammad Ali (ZTBL, 35 wickets) also took away Rs 50,000. The all-rounder/outstanding cricketer was shared between Hamza Nadeem (ZTBL, 184 runs & 34 wickets) and Jallat Khan (Haideri Traders, 179 runs & 34 wickets) who also got Rs 50,000.
