Bahrain Preparing To Sign Deal On Cooperation With Roscosmos - Space Agency Head

The National Space Science Agency of Bahrain (NSSA) is preparing to sign a memorandum of understanding with Russia's Roscosmos space agency, NSSA Chief Executive Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Asiri told Sputnik on Friday.

MANAMA (Bahrain) (UrduPoint news / Sputnik - 16th November, 2018) The National Space Science Agency of Bahrain (NSSA) is preparing to sign a memorandum of understanding with Russia's Roscosmos space agency, NSSA Chief Executive Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Asiri told Sputnik on Friday.

"The memorandum of understanding is currently at the final stage of consideration in the Russian government.

After that we will carry out the procedure of its verification in Bahrain, and then we will agree on the date of signing," Al Asiri said on the sidelines of the BIAS-2018 airshow.

He stressed that this document was very important for Bahrain, which expected that cooperation with the leading countries would help accelerate the development of the space industry in Bahrain and minimize possible challenges.
