Galaxy S9 To Ship With S. Korean Document App

Hancom Inc., a South Korean software maker, said Friday that its document-editing program will be included in Samsung Electronics Co.'s Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphones sold in the North American market.
SEOUL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2018 ) :Hancom Inc., a South Korean software maker, said Friday that its document-editing program will be included in samsung Electronics Co.'s Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphones sold in the North American market.
The company said the app, named Hancom Office S, will be installed on Samsung's latest flagship phones as standard. The program allows users to edit not only PDF files but also those made in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Hancom said the release of the latest Galaxy S9 series is expected to boost the company's efforts to tap deeper into the global market.
The homegrown software firm is well-known among South Koreans for its mainstay word processing computer software based on the Korean language.
The Galaxy S9 smartphones are being sold in key markets, such as South Korea, the United States, Britain and Russia, along with other countries as of Friday. The South Korean tech giant said it plans to release the new flagship smartphone in 110 nations by the end of this month.
