KP govt to extend early age programming to more schools

The Khyber Pakthunkhwa government has decided to extend early age programming to more government schools to promote science and information technology in the province

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jan, 2019 ) :The Khyber Pakthunkhwa government has decided to extend early age programming to more government schools to promote science and information technology in the province.

To achieve this major objective, the provincial government would establish more computer labs in such schools besides providing online training to teaching faculty.

Special adviser to the Chief Minister for Information Technology Kamran Bangash disclosed this during a meeting with Adviser to Chief Minister on Secondary and Elementary Education, Ziaullah Khan Bangash here at his office.

Projects related to IT in Govt schools and its extension to others educational institutes also came under discussion.

It was principally agreed to digitalize district offices of Education Department for quick service delivery.

Kamran Bangash said IT labs would be increased in Govt schools to equip students with ornament of science and technology.

He said quality education specially technical education and IT was imperative to prepare students with challenges ahead.
