NASA Associate Administrator to Visit Baikonur for Soyuz MS-12 Launch on Thursday

NASA Associate Administrator for Human Exploration and Operations Bill Gerstenmaier will travel to Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan on Thursday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th March, 2019) NASA Associate Administrator for Human Exploration and Operations Bill Gerstenmaier will travel to Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan on Thursday.

During the visit, Gerstenmaier will attend the launch of Russia's Soyuz MS-12 manned spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS).

Soyuz MS-12 spacecraft is scheduled to leave for the ISS carrying an international crew, which will comprise Russian cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin and NASA astronauts Nick Hague and Christina Koch.
