New US Space-Based Senor Layer to Give Washington Global Awareness - Shanahan

The proposed deployment of sensors in space will give the United States global awareness and allow a quicker detection of enemy missiles, acting US Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan said on Thursday at the rollout of the 2019 Missile Defense Review

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 17th January, 2019) The proposed deployment of sensors in space will give the United States global awareness and allow a quicker detection of enemy missiles, acting US Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan said on Thursday at the rollout of the 2019 Missile Defense Review.

"Our new space-based sensor layer will give us persistent, timely, global awareness. These capabilities will remove adversaries abilities to course us, our allies and partners," Shanahan said during his address at the Pentagon.
